In the remote village of Tinsukia, Assam, Deva, also known as Cutout (Prabhas), resides near a coal mine with his vigilant mother (Easwari Rao). Having moved frequently in the past seven years to escape violence, Deva, a docile mechanic, keeps to himself. The plot unfolds when Aadhya (Shruti Haasan), seeking refuge from the menacing Obulamma (Jhansi), enters Deva's life. Simultaneously, in the turbulent city of Khansar, Raja Mannar (Jagapathi Babu) faces a coup led by ministers. Foreign armies sow chaos, prompting Radha, in charge during Mannar's absence, to declare a nine-day ceasefire. With Vardha (Prithviraj Sukumaran) in peril, he turns to childhood friend Deva for a risky mission. The suspense builds: will Deva save Vardha, and will there be a ceasefire or a bloodbath?
